SYNOPSIS: When Kira, one of the Greek Muses in disguise, sets out to inspire the greatest artist in 1780 Venice, she lands in disco-crazed 1980 Venice Beach instead. There she finds herself helping the struggling artist Sonny achieve his greatest dream: opening the first roller disco. Chaos and campiness abound as their forbidden love, Kira’s jealous sisters, and a clarinetist-turned-businessman help and hinder their mission at every turn. With a cast of roller skating actors, the 1980s cult classic film returns to the stage, with all the chart-topping hits and glittery fun of the original Broadway smash.

Note: For this newly revised 9-person version of XANADU, we're seeking true triple threat performers with strong comedic abilities. Roller skating experience is a huge plus. The musicians will also be in the ensemble, so therefore need to be equally adept as players and singers.
