Red Bull Theater, “the most exciting classical theater in New York” (Time Out NY 12/07) seeks a driven, outgoing, ambitious and talented Managing Director to work with the Artistic Director, Jesse Berger, in managing and directing the growth of the company. Red Bull Theater has experienced rapid growth since its founding in 2003, and recently received the Tony Randall Theatrical Fund’s $100,000 Award. In four producing seasons, the company has three extended Off-Broadway productions under its belt, an OBIE Award, the support of over 200 individual donors, 15 foundations, 3 government agencies, and a loyal audience of nearly 5,000 people. The Managing Director of Red Bull Theater will have professional experience or training including but not limited to the following areas: producing, marketing, fund-raising, foundation/donor relations, staff/volunteer management, and grant-writing in the not-for-profit theater. Red Bull Theater also welcome applications from current or recent Graduate students for whom this position might fulfill an Intern- or Apprenticeship and/or otherwise provide a transition from training to practical experience in the profession.
