Title Ticket Services Director
Category Administrative
Description Working with a team, under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Marketing and Patron Services, this position is responsible for overseeing all components of ticketing activity at Krannert Center. This position focuses on outstanding customer service, staff management, extensive collaboration with marketing and the full Krannert Center team, and revenue management. This position is responsible for the operation and efficient management of Ticketing Services, including outstanding service to patrons, all personnel issues, and maintaining relationships with other campus departments and the community.

The ticket services director should possess excellent communication, teamwork, staff management, and planning skills, and should be professional, flexible, respectful, and efficient in all work with colleagues and clients. A bachelor's degree is required. A degree in the area of arts management, marketing or public relations is desirable; knowledge, experience, and/or skills in an artistic discipline or setting are also desirable. Previous staff management experience and a working knowledge of current computer systems used in ticketing and information processing are desirable.

This is a 100%-time (full time), 12-month, full benefits, academic professional appointment. Salary competitive. Start August 16, 2008 (negotiable).
