Cumberland County Playhouse, Crossville, TN is collecting resumes for the position of Head of the Sound Dept/Designer. Position will start in January of 2010 and will be a season long contract. Duties will include but are not limited to Sound Design of both musicals and dramatic plays, mixing of shows, which will include live orchestras, equipment maintenance, changeovers, load-ins/outs of productions. Be a supervisor over one other person in the sound department. Our season will consist of at least 12 musicals and plays, 10 concerts, and a spring student showcase. Many of our productions perform in repertory with one another. Looking for a person who can be a team player full of energy that can be even tempered and work well with both professionals, volunteers and children. Besides a weekly salary housing is provided, as well a gym memberships. EOE
