Job Details Title Singers, Singer/Actors, Singer/Dancers & Singers Category Performer Description Norwegian Cruise Line and Gary Musick Productions is casting for the JADE and SPIRIT Production Cast. --JADE Singer/Actors and Singer/Dancers for “Shout”, “Showdown” and “Elements” a new dance/aerial show* --SPIRIT Singers and dancers for new contemporary shows “On Broadway” and “Soul Rockin’ Nights” and “ELEMENTS” a new dance/aerial show* *directed & choreographed by Patricia Wilcox General Manager: Gary Musick Productions We are seeking diverse singers with strong vocal ability that possess dynamic personalities and have the ability to play a variety of roles from Pop/Broadway to Rock style. Must have the ability to sing contemporary and legit. Must harmonize as well as move extremely well. Minimum pay $900/wk; includes travel, room, board & transportation All dancers must have excellent technique, a toned/athletic body and strengths in lyrical, jazz and contemporary styles. Aerial experience and tumbling a plus. Pay is $700/wk; includes travel, room, board & transportation. Four week rehearsal period and six month contract; Jade rehearsals begin mid January, Spirit rehearsals begin late March. Rehearsals will be in Nashville TN. Jade contract will be sailing the Mediterranean, Spirit will be sailing Bermuda. Sheet music is required in the proper key and an accompanist will be provided. We are looking for 60’s pop/Motown, R&B, Pop/Rock and Contemporary Musical Theatre (Wicked, Tommy, Movin’ Out, etc…). For callbacks, be prepared to learn a short dance combination. Proper dance attire should be worn for the dance portion of the audition. Dancers You will be taught a challenging combination with contrasting styles. Please come prepared with proper dance attire (avoid baggy or bulky clothing) and flats and heels.
