Seeking: Sound, Set, Lighting and Video Designers and Associate Designers

Rescue Agreement, in Co-Production with CAP21 is currently seeking a design team for their upcoming work If [or When].

Rehearsals: Today until May 15
Tech: May 15 - May 27
Run: May 28 - June 22

Synopsis: In the endless halls of the Library, memories echo from every surface. Do you want to reference the day you lost your first tooth or get an objective view of the day your parents met? Check out whichever you like. In If [or When] the Roof Falls In, two people discover what the value of memory can be. Charlotte is more interested in what other people remember, while Ethan has come only to find a way destroy his painful past. But when they meet, both must change the way they think about the past, themselves, and what it truly means to forget.

About: Rescue Agreement is a theatre company of multifaceted artists, writers and magicians who use technology, spectacle and illusion to create intellectual spectacles. We are seeking designers with a cinematic eye (and ear) for detail. Our set will ultimately be fully interactive as an installation of sorts, and should be able to be engaged with by audience members (set will therefore encompass props, as well). Our sound design should be acutely aware of each moment, heightening each moment of the piece. Our lighting designer should have experience lighting primarily with practical. Designers with shoestring sourcing experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Our designs become full characters in our productions so our designers' frequent attendance in rehearsals is necessary.
