OPEN MEMBERSHIP MEETING ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27th
7pm at ST. BART’S COMMUNITY HOUSE
St. Bart’s Players is the longest continuously running community theatre group in New York City. Founded in 1927, the St. Bart's Players has been a self-supporting, nonprofit community theatre company for more than three-quarters of a century. Our home base is St. Bartholomew's Church, situated at 325 Park Avenue and 51st Street in Manhattan.
We are a membership club of people who have a common interest in performing and producing quality theatre. Most of our members hold full-time day jobs in a wide variety of careers and pursue their theatre dreams in their off-hours. We are a melting pot of creativity, talent and management skills infused with a strong work ethic — all of which serves us well in putting together quality shows for our audiences.
2013 Performance Season
We are currently in rehearsals for our spring production of Little Shop of Horrors, which will run at the Hudson Guild Theater at 441 West 26th Street, April 18-28th. It’s not too late to join us and become involved in this production as a crew member or as part of the front-of-house team.
We will be holding membership auditions for our fall production of The Crucible in September. Join the Players now so you can be on stage with us this fall!
Join Us
We are having an Open Membership Meeting on Wednesday, March 27th at 7pm. We encourage all new members and interested people to join us for this meeting. Learn about the exciting things we are planning for the season, including social outings, cabarets, local volunteer events and how to participate in our main stage productions! We are a membership group; therefore, to become a Player, you will need to pay an annual membership fee of $50 in order to participate in our events and be a part of our productions.
Enter via the side door at 109 East 50th St., and the doorman will direct you to our meeting room on the 4th Floor. If you have any other membership inquiries, email them to membership@stbartsplayers.org.
