A Production Assistant is needed for: THE MEMORY SHOW, book & lyrics by Sara Cooper, music by Zach Redler. First rehearsal is March 25th, first preview is April 16th, and opens April 30th at The Duke on 42nd Street in Times Square.
The ideal candidate is a creative, resourceful, and self-motivated grad student, recent grad, ambitious undergrad, or someone interested in a career in Stage Management or Production Management with strong organization skills, good writing and speaking skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, the ability to prioritize tasks, a willingness to be flexible with work assignments, who pays attention to detail, and is willing to work hard and do almost anything.
Candidates will receive a monthly unlimited Metrocard for each month of employment, and can receive school credit if applicable. Candidate will obtain excellent references and experience for his/her resume.
Schedule: THE MEMORY SHOW - Must be available starting March 25th through all rehearsals, tech, previews and all shows. Rehearsals are daytimes until April 6th and then tech rehearsals/load-in begins. Once the show is open, performances are evenings and weekends with some Sunday matinees. Show closes May 18th, 2013. Job ends after strike is complete.
