We are seeking an experienced, proven Technical Director to manage the technical elements of events at home and around the world. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful, energetic team-player with strong experience in scenery, lighting, and AV production and management. The position includes contracting and managing audio visual elements, design and managing lighting, designing and managing scenic construction and installation of sets and décor pieces, and on-site management. Additional responsibilities will include sourcing materials, hiring and managing freelance staff, negotiating with vendors, drafting, coordinating event supplies and shipments. Travel, nights and weekends, and sometimes international travel may be required, based on clients’ needs. This is a fun job with a great team, and an amazing opportunity for a hands-on person with strong technical skills to work with Fortune 500 clients on creative and exciting events.
