With so many auditions requiring a monologue to present for an agent or casting director, it's important to have fantastic material. Don't let mediocre material keep you from landing representation or going to open calls. If something is just not working in your auditions...it's time you fix it.

The Advanced Monologue Workout is a 5 week class that ends in a showcase for a casting director, agent or prominent director.

Most students walk away with close to 10 monologues, 3 of those up on their feet and rehearsed fully.

ADVANCED MONOLOGUE WORKOUT DETAILS
• Leave with (at least, but probably more!) 3 audition-ready Monologues
• Gain a solid understanding of what “they” really want in the room
• Every student will work every class
• A chance to showcase your work to industry professionals!
• The chance to watch other performers grow and learn – a great opportunity to learn from watching.

SCHEDULE
Section 1: Tuesdays – 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
April 16th, April 23rd, April 30th, May 7th, May 14th (Showcase)

Section 2: Thursdays – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
April 11th, (Skip the 18th), April 25th, May 2nd, May 9th, May 16th (Showcase)

TUITION
Tuition for the Monologue/Scene workshop is $250. This is due before the first class to hold your place.

LOCATION
Advanced Monologue Workshop will be held at Ripley Grier Studios (520 8th Avenue, 16th Floor).

REGISTRATION
This is an advanced class. Students who want to participate must be a student of Chelsea’s (either present or past) or must email Chelsea at: Chelsea@newyorkmonologuecoach.com with a resume and why you are interested. Class is limited to 10 participants. Spots fill quickly so don't delay.
