VOICETheatre, www.voicetheatre.org is seeking 7 interns for it’s next environmental production, Birds on a Wire. Interns will be working with the Artistic Director, 4 Assistant Directors and Stage Management.

Duties will include working with the actors, director, promotion, properties, program creation and our fight against fracking. Birds on a Wire takes place in the Dust Bowl and we are partnering with several anti-fracking groups to raise awareness about the dangers of fracking as the similarities of what caused the Dust Bowl and the dangers of fracking resonate today. We are organizing a national tour of the play.

Rehearsals begin April 29 at 410 west 40th Street in the Sanctuary Arts Initiative, just west of 9th Avenue in the Metro Baptist Church. Opening is June 13th. Rehearsals will take place during the day and evening. Please submit resume electronically. Interviews taking place Mid-April.
