The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company is seeking a costume designer/costume coordinator for our very busy 2013 Non-Equity Summer Season. The designer/coordinator is in charge of all aspects of design, construction and wardrobe.

Broadway Mainstage Series
- Singin’ in the Rain
- Peter Pan
- Smoke Joe’s Café
TYA/Children’s Theatre Series
- Winnie The Pooh
- Jack and the Beanstalk
- Rapunzel
- Dorothy Meets Alice
- Uberboy: The Story of a Super Hero
Education Shows featuring youth:
- Grease
- Into the Woods Jr.
- The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf
The designer/coordinator will oversee one costume/wardrobe staff member and several student/youth interns. The costume designer/coordinator will be expected to work run crew for all of the Mainstage productions.
Due to a lack of storage space and limited construction time, we are also open to renting costumes. The designer/coordinator will need to work with the Director to select rented costumes before the contract start date.
Applicants should have a strong background in wardrobe and/or design and should be positive professionals with strong work ethic. Experience managing a small budget and an understanding of the summer stock rehearsal process is preferred.
All contracts include a weekly stipend.
We would prefer applicants with housing in the Ocean City, NJ area but those without local housing will still be considered.
