New York Theatre Workshop, an award-winning Off-Broadway theatre company, seeks interns for Season 2013-14 in the following departments:

We seek passionate and motivated college students, graduate students, and recent graduates interested in careers in arts administration. We are looking for self-directed candidates who are interested in learning from theatre professionals and contributing to a vibrant downtown community of artists.
Season 2013-14 internship terms run from early September through late May. Interns must be available a minimum of 3 full days (24 hours) per week. NYTW offers a monthly MetroCard, plus academic credit if applicable.

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTIONS:
Artistic Interns work closely with the Artistic staff, providing support for all Artistic and Workshop programming. Responsibilities include helping to facilitate summer developmental residencies, participating in Artistic staff meetings, and helping to coordinate readings and events.
Literary Interns work under the supervision of the Literary staff to help read scripts, write reader reports, and correspond with writers regarding individual works. Interns also facilitate Larson Lab projects, other special events and readings.
Education Interns work closely with the Director of Education to help facilitate all education initiatives, including school residency programs, student matinees, mentoring workshops, public programs, and Mind the Gap: Intergenerational Theatre Workshop.
Artistic/Education Interns work closely with both the Artistic and Education departments, providing support for Artistic, Workshop, and Education programming. Responsibilities include coordinating and assisting with Master Classes, participating in Artistic staff meetings, and helping to coordinate readings and events for both Artistic and Education.
