Welcome to Motivated Movers!

We are here to create a safe space for YOU, the beginner and advanced beginner dancers in NYC, to explore, express, create and manifest empowerment as performing artists. Classes are designed to hone dance skills for "movers" in the musical theatre industry, while helping you discover the love, joy, and confidence in movement that we strongly believe you are capable of finding. (In simple terms, we will help you nail that Mover Call and book that job!)

Dare to step outside your comfort zone and try something NEW! Give our Motivated Movers Call OR our Back to Basics tap class a try to see what we are all about.

*Motivated Movers Call​*
This class simulates a mover call in a very safe space where students will have the opportunity to apply techniques learned in classes to a "mock" audition setting to better assist them in the actual audition room. Focus is on assimilation, stress management, tools to stand out, and finding the joy. No judgement. No stress. Only love and joy!

Motivated Movers Call is Tuesday, April 30, 8-9:30pm at NOLA Studios

*Back to Basics Tap*
This class breaks down the fundamentals of tap by thoroughly exploring terminology, single sounds, patterns, and breaking down common steps such as a time step. A great class for brand new tappers and those looking for a refresher!

Back to Basics is Monday, May 6, 8-9:30 at Nola Studios

All classes are $12 if you pre-register or $13 if you Walk-in.
