Kidz Theater is a professional development company dedicated to helping exceptionally talented young performers to meet their professional theater goals. Through free productions and affordable classes, Kidz Theater students learn not just the skills they need to excel as professional singers actors and dancers, but the skills they need to be true professionals in any field: responsibility, commitment, communication, organization and study skills, integrity and teamwork. Through Kidz Theater, the most talented children ages 8-19 from across the tri-state area come together in NYC to create stunning and unbelievable productions. Our productions feature Broadway veterans as well as those with exceptional raw talent, and many of our young performers have gone on to Broadway or other professional productions within a few months of performing with Kidz Theater. Currently, our Alumni are a part of all of the top College Musical Theater programs, many with hefty scholarships. More than just a typical youth theater, Kidz Theater strives to teach professionalism to each student or performer that comes through our doors. We cast each production with performers who are not only talented, but kind, creative, professional, passionate, energetic, diverse, and dedicated to theater and performance!

We are currently casting for our Summer Workshop of Magic Tree House- "Dinosaurs Before Dark"-- a NEW MUSICAL.

This workshop will take place in late August, but we have also been invited to perform the show at the BRONX ZOO in October, and anyone involved with the summer workshop will be invited to be a part of that cast as well!

This exciting Summer Intensive will feature:
- Over 60 hours of class time
- A professional & fast 1 week rehearsal process modeled after a real Broadway rehearsal process.
- An excellent and professional Kidz Theater show process directed by Kristen Caesar, Artistic Director
- 8 performances in a NYC theater!
- Several performances at the BRONX ZOO in October
- Each child will be assigned a personal mentor/coach. Mentors will be comprised of the most talented Kidz Theater performers.
- Kidz Theater "star" teens in the production.
- A chance to try out for the leading and ensemble roles including Jack and Annie!
