3 Understudies. Woman to cover Ruby/June/Cheryl/Edna, Woman to cover Cathy/Patti, and one man to cover Bobby

Breakdown

*RUBY--late 50s, mother of Bobby and Edna, hard working, almost like a pioneer woman, puts her children and grandchildren above all else in her life.

*JUNE--mid-50s, Ruby's sister, Born Again Christian, prissy, privileged, married and divorced several times.

*BOBBY-early 40s, Ruby's son, high school drop-out, downtrodden optimist, proud husband and father.

*EDNA-early 40s, Bobby's twin sister, college educated, lives in Austin, single, no children, returning home after long absence.

*CHERYL--early 40s, originally from Boston, Bobby's wife, mother of two girls, no-nonsense yet caring, feels overshadowed by her mother-in-law, Ruby.

*CATHY--18, independent, sensitive, very respectful of grandmother Ruby, anxious to move away to college.

*PATTI--12, smart, perceptive, mischievous, maturing into a woman in many ways but still a little girl.


*Role has been cast. Looking for understudies.
