Breakdown
NOTE: All characters are British and a combination of your typical Agatha Christie character and a British music hall entertainer – there is a fine line here before it goes over the top which is not what I am looking for….
Lettie (the saucy maid) 20-30, Mezzo – Cockney accent – cute, agile,
Flint (the caretaker) 35-45, Hi Baritone – also Cockney – a bit lecherous, but not a bad guy
Hope (The ingénue) 20’s, Wide range soprano – pretty, female love interest, sweet tempered, not extremely deep
Dr. Grayburn (The family doctor) 40-60, Baritone – knowledgeable, kind,
Nigel (the dissolute nephew) 30’s, Tenor – kind of the bad boy – looking to inherit his Uncle’s fortune
Grace (the grande-dame) mezzo ,40-55, elegant but covering up diminished circumstances.
Col. Gillweather (the old army man) 40-60, Baritone – blustery classic British military man
Miss Tweed (the elderly amateur detective) 40-55, Alto – very strong personality, a performer in all ways
Geoffrey (the juvenile) 20’s, High baritone – male love interest, athletic, good natured
