Rehearsals begin the third week of May and continue through performances. The cast of over 150 performers is to be radically diverse-in terms of race, age, class, style, body type.
All creative, explorative performers welcome to audition.
Speaking Roles and Solo Singers
Wednesday May 8th6:00-9:00pm or Thursday May 9th 10:00am-1:00pm
-Searching for imaginative performers ages 13-100 to be cast in numerous speaking and or solo singing roles. Please choose one or both to audition for us.
-Speaking, Please prepare a one minute monologue, of any genre-from any source, that you feel fits our project.
-Solo’s, Please prepare a one minute song that best shows “your personal style”, a
capella or with accompaniment. Actors that accompany themselves are welcome and encouraged to share all gifts.
Actor Movement Based Ensemble and Dance Ensemble/Soloists
Wednesday May 8th 9:30am-12:30pm and Saturday May 11th 2:00-5:00pm
-Searching for imaginative performers ages 13-100 to be cast in either our “viewpoints” based actor movement ensemble and or our Dance Ensemble (numerous styles incorporated) and Solo Dancers.
These auditions will be group calls starting at the top of each half-hour (9:30, 10:00, 10:30...) in our blocked audition times listed above. Please arrive warmed up or with time to warm yourselves
Children’s Vocal Ensemble
Thursday May 9th 6:00-9:00pm or Saturday May 11th 2:00-5:00pm
-Searching for imaginative young performers ages 6-12 to be involved in actor movement, ensemble singing, and possible solo performance.-Please prepare a one minute solo, that best shows “your personal style”, a capella or with accompaniment. Children that play instruments are welcome to accompany themselves.

Notes/What to bring:

Payment: Due to the size of this piece there will be no pay for any performers so we are
looking for artists interested in making Mr. Mee’s piece come to life, performing in
such a magnificent venue, being seen by a number of NYC critics, journalists… at our
invited dress, as well as being able to make yourself open for rehearsals, tech,
performances.
REHEARSALS:
Speaking Roles and Soloists: rehearsals will be between your availability and the directorial staff.
Ensemble Roles/Children: rehearsals will be held on weeknights between the hours of 5:30pm-10:00pm (8:00pm for children), as well as some weekends between the hours of
11:00am-2:30pm, and 4:30pm-9:00pm.
REQUIRED Full Cast Wednesday July 3rd 3:00-9:00pm, Friday July 5th 11:30am-10:00pm,
Thursday July 18th 1:30pm-10:00pm, and Friday July 19th 1:30pm-10:00pm
