Submissions are now being accepted for Greyman Theatre Company’s 2014-2015 Season!
Greyman Theatre Company, created in 2009, is a non-profit theatre company in New York City with the mission to discover and cultivate new voices and support the growth of artists while fostering an engaging, challenging, and relevant dialogue with our audiences. Contemporary works play a vital role in reflecting society's views and questions about the life of the time. Greyman serves to document and preserve that history.
Greyman recently relocated to New York City to further its work developing and showcasing new voices. Seeking to become a permanent and vital presence in NYC, Greyman will begin producing three-show seasons in the fall of 2014 as well as an innovative and dynamic education program. To find out more about Greyman, please visit www.greymantheatreco.org.
We are seeking play and musical, agent and non-agent submissions by writers who are interested and available to develop their work throughout the rehearsal process in NYC. Please note that we do not limit the number of actors or musicians in the submission process, but these factors can play a part in season selection. Complete works are not necessary but are accepted. We welcome works in progress for development.
Submissions must be new and include previous production/developmental history as well as any upcoming dates.
Submissions cannot be licensed by a major licensing house or have been performed in Manhattan in a full production. Shows that have had readings and/or workshops in Manhattan are eligible.
Please send digital files and/or links to scripts@greymantheatreco.org with the show title in the subject line. Dropbox invitations are welcome.
