The New London Barn Playhouse, one of New England’s most historic summer theaters, seeks alternating Music Directors for its 2013 Summer Season. Duties include alternating as Music Director and Assistant Music Director for 4 mainstage musicals as well as several original revue shows. Responsibilities include teaching harmonies, accompanying rehearsals, conducting the pit band with playing piano, and creating and playing Keyboard parts. This year’s season: STRAW HAT REVUE, THE STUDENT PRINCE, THE MUSIC MAN, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, A LEGENDARY ROMANCE (a new musical), LES MISERABLES, and BARN IDOLS (original music revues). Compensation is $325 / week plus travel, room and all meals. In addition, MDs will get the experience of working with a different professional directing team for each production.
