Camp Manitou for Boys, located in Oakland, Maine, seeks a Scenic Carpenter/Technical Director for it's 2013 Summer Season: The Technical Director collaborates with a full time professional staff in the safe design, construction, installation, and removal of scenery, props, and other technical elements for each of the five summer shows. Duties include: managing scene shop staff; producing budget estimates and construction schedules; producing and overseeing production of scenery and other technical elements; aiding in maintaining theater and scene shop. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in technical theater and a BA in technical theater as well as experience working with kids. Requires significant experience in scenic construction, painting, technical design, and stage electrics; must be highly skilled in management of budgets, schedules, equipment, and personnel.
