Tony Winner Ellen Barkin Proudly Rages Against the Machine

Ellen Barkin, winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play, talks about witnessing the original production of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart and how it never left her consciousness. Although a new generation views it with fresh eyes, the 1980s play about the AIDS epidemic is "still Larry's play," with a message that the cast is proud to "shout out" every night.
