Playbill popped in for a special preview of Hugh Jackman's upcoming return
to the Great White Way: Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway. After limited
engagements in both Toronto and San Francisco, the Tony winner (for his turn
in The Boy From Oz) adapted his high energy song and dance
spectacular for a New York City audience by adding specialty numbers to a
musical selection that runs the gamut from Rodgers and Hammerstein to rock
'n' roll. Audiences should also not be surprised to find a selection or two
from "the boy from Oz" himself — Peter Allen — thrown in for good measure.
