Highlights From Sam Waterston in King Lear

A veteran of both Shakespeare and the Public Theater (he was in every Shakespeare in the Park production of Hamlet presented over the last 40 years), Academy Award nominee Sam Waterston tackles the titular mad king in the Public Theater's production of King Lear. Directed by James Macdonald, the cast is filled out by Tony winner Bill Irwin (as the Fool), Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara (as Regan), Tony nominee Enid Graham (as Goneril), Kristen Connolly (as Cordelia), Tony winner Frank Wood (as Cornwall) and Michael McKean (as Gloucester).
