Hand-Jivin' Highlights: Original Broadway Cast of Grease Reunites for Gypsy of the Year

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Broadway production of Grease, original cast members of the smash musical reunited to perform Dec. 5-6 at the annual Gypsy of the Year competition produced by and supporting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. We've got hand-jivin' highlights from Dec. 5. Cast members including Barry Bostwick (Danny), Carole Demas (Sandy), Walter Bobbie (Roger) and Adrienne Barbeau (Betty Rizzo) returned to sing songs they introduced back in 1972, including "Greased Lightin'," "Born to Hand Jive," "Freddy, My Love," "We Go Together" and more. They were supported by chorus kids who probably weren't born when Grease first slickened the Great White Way. For more on the reunion and Gypsy of the Year, click here.
