The Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Matilda — The Musical, based on the 1988 Roald Dahl novel, is currently playing to acclaim at the Cambridge Theatre in London's West End. Rumors about a Broadway future are swirling, but there's been no official announcement. Directed by Matthew Warchus (Ghost The Musical, God of Carnage, Boeing-Boeing), the show has a book by playwright and screenwriter Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by Australian stand-up comic, musician and composer Tim Minchin. The
story of a little girl with extraordinary powers, Matilda stars Eleanor Worthington Cox, Cleo Demetriou, Kerry Ingram and Sophia Kiely alternating in the title role, and Bertie Carvel as Miss Trunchbull. For more information on Matilda, click here.
