Christian Borle: 2012 Tony Winner for Best Featured Actor in a Play

Peter and the Starcatcher's Christian Borle lets it all hang out as the wonderfully over-the-top Black Stache, an up-and-coming pirate desperately in need of an arch enemy. Borle captured the 2012 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play in this ensemble play-with-music based on the Dave Barry-Ridley Pearson novel. After the award presentation, Borle made his way to the press room to recall the origins of the play, the collaborative process of working with author Rick Elice, having a dressing room cocktail, his first go 'round on stage in Oklahoma! and returning for season two of the NBC Broadway-based drama "Smash."
