Broadway in Bryant Park Returns for 2012 Season With Spider-Man, Porgy and Bess, Phantom and a Glimpse of a War Horse

One of the summer's most beloved traditions, Broadway in Bryant Park, kicked off its 2012 season on July 12 with performances from some of Broadway's top shows. Hosted by 106.7 FM's Delilah, the concert welcomed Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark, The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, Phantom of the Opera and Stomp to the stage under the hot summer sun. Pre-show, "Joey" — a life size equine puppet from the Tony-winning play War Horse — roamed the park's lush green lawn to mingle with Broadway fans and allow them to see the mechanics of the complex puppet up-close.
