Playbill caught up with Constantine Maroulis on break during his first week of rehearsal for the new touring production of Jekyll & Hyde — a week which included a first-day meet and greet, a read-through of the "lean and mean" script and a visit to the set shop. Maroulis, who will star in the dual role of Dr. Henry Jekyll / Edward Hyde, spoke about the "revisal" of the show — directed by Jeff Calhoun — which will feature new orchestrations of the Frank Wildhorn score. The 25-week national tour will launch Oct. 2, 2012, at San Diego's Civic Theatre in San Diego, CA and is expected to find its way to Broadway for a limited 2013 engagement.
