The Beautiful World of PigPen: Shadows, Puppetry and Music

PigPen Theatre Co. premieres its first foray into animation with the short film "Bremen," a companion piece to their upcoming production The Old Man and the Old Moon. The tale of a man who must abandon his duty of filling up the moon every month in order to search for his missing wife, this theatrical fable will blend shadow puppetry, group movement, live music, and clever lighting effects along with original music from PigPen's first album, also called "Bremen." The production will play The Gym at Judson beginning Sept. 26, with an official opening on Oct. 7. For more, click here.
