Christine Andreas in Rehearsal At 54 Below

Playbill joined two-time Tony nominee Christine Andreas (La Cage aux Folles, The Scarlet Pimpernel) in rehearsal at the speakeasy-styled cabaret room 54 Below. Andreas presented tunes from her upcoming show titled Bemused, a look at singers who found inspiration from, and became identified with, particular songwriters. Here, she performs Cole Porter's "I Love Paris" as an intro to the French language Louiguy/Édith Piaf composition "La Vie en Rose," the song which made Piaf an international star.
