Highlights From Annie on Broadway, Part Two

Tony winner James Lapine directs the 35th anniversary revival of the musical comedy Annie. Based on the Harold Gray comic strip "Little Orphan Annie," the musical tells the story of the spunky curly-haired kid searching for love and family against the backdrop of the Great Depression. Lilla Crawford plays the title heroine; Katie Finneran plays the scheming head of the orphanage, Miss Hannigan; Clarke Thorell is her recently paroled brother Rooster; and Aussie stage vet Anthony Warlow makes his Broadway debut as wealthy industrialist Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks. In part two of two, the cast performs tunes "I Don't Need Anything But You," "You're Never Fully Dressed," "N.Y.C.," "New Deal For Christmas" and the classic anthem of optimism, "Tomorrow."
