Highlights From Bare Off-Broadway

First conceived and performed as a sung-through "pop opera," an updated Bare comes to Off-Broadway’s New World Stages. Now with book scenes, the production features several new songs that seek to create deeper and more nuanced characters in this coming-of-age story about teens, repression and sexuality at a Catholic high school. Travis Wall choreographs and Stafford Arima directs the production by Jon Hartmere (book and lyrics) and Damon Intrabartolo (music), with additional music and music supervision by Lynne Shankel.
