Highlights From Clifford Odets' Golden Boy on Broadway

Seth Numrich stars in Lincoln Center Theater's 75th-anniversary revival of Clifford Odets’ Golden Boy, which returns to the Belasco Theatre, site of the original 1937 production. Numrich stars as 21-year-old Joe Bonaparte, a gifted violinist who is seduced by the big money he could make in the boxing ring. Violence, paternal acceptance, fame, purpose, the Depression and the love of a good (but flawed) woman inform Joe's rise and fall in the gritty classic directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher. The cast also features Tony Award winner Anthony Crivello, Yvonne Strahovski, Tony Shalhoub, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Danny Burstein and more. For more on the production, click here.
