OBSESSED!: Time Traveling With Annies of Different Eras

Seth Rudetsky brought the Playbill crew with him as he rehearsed for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS ' 24th annual Gypsy of the Year competition, presented Dec. 3-4, 2012. Returning once again as host, Seth had a special surprise cooked up for the audience. Breaking into one of his signature deconstructions — one particular bit revolved around a less-than-amahzing recording of an 11-year-old Rudetsky belting out Annie's anthem "Tomorrow" — Seth got a lesson in how it's done from Broadway's current Annie star Lilla Crawford and Broadway's original Annie star Andrea McArdle.
