Highlights From William Inge's Picnic on Broadway

The 1953 Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama, William Inge's Picnic gets a fresh Broadway revival by Roundabout Theatre Company at the American Airlines Theatre. When sexy drifter Hal (Sebastian Stan) arrives in a small Kansas town looking for work from his college pal Alan (Ben Rappaport), he stirs up the locals especially the women, including Flo (Mare Winningham), her younger daughter Millie (Madeleine Martin), comely older daughter Madge (Maggie Grace), neighbor Mrs. Potts (Ellen Burstyn) and schoolteacher Rosemary (Elizabeth Marvel) on the day of the big summer picnic. Sam Gold directs the steamy portrait of passion in a world of limited choices. View the Playbill Photo Call of Picnic here.
