Molly Ringwald Brings Jazz Chops to 54 Below

Molly Ringwald, famous for starring in the John Hughes films "The Breakfast Club," "Pretty In Pink" and "Sixteen Candles," but with a jazz pianist for a father, a love of music was instilled in her years before acting was on her radar. Ringwald, who appeared in Broadway's Cabaret and Enchanted April and toured with Sweet Charity, returns to her jazz roots in two concerts at the midtown Manhattan cabaret 54 Below Jan. 15-16. Playbill visited Ringwald in rehearsal, where she performed the Stephen Sondheim tune "Sooner Or Later (I Always Get My Man)" from the 1990 film "Dick Tracy."
