Highlights From Pulitzer Prize-Winning Water By the Spoonful

Quiara Alegrķa Hudes' Water By the Spoonful, the 2012 Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama, is the story of American military veteran Elliot, who is trying to make sense of his life after returning from war in Iraq. In this second part of a trilogy that began with Hudes' Pulitzer Prize-finalist work, Elliot, A Soldier's Fugue, Armando Riesco, Liza Colon-Zayas and Zabryna Guevara, who appeared in the 2011 Hartford Stage world premiere, repeat their work for Off-Broadway's Second Stage Theatre. The drama also charts the journeys and obstacles of Elliot's extended family, touching on the ideas of addiction, family ties, legacy and recovery. For more, click here.
