Kids From Newsies Talk Dream Roles With "Better Nate Than Ever" Author Tim Federle

Broadway trooper Tim Federle has just released his debut novel "Better Nate Than Ever," which captures the adventure of a young theatre lover with Broadway dreams who sneaks on a bus to New York City to audition for E.T. The Musical. Federle, who is a Broadway veteran of The Little Mermaid, Gypsy and Billy Elliot, chats with some of Broadway's brightest and youngest stars from The Lion King, Annie and Newsies in this three-part series for Playbill. In part two, the two young actors who share the role of Les in Newsies, Nicholas Lampiasi and Jake Lucas, join Tim at Sardi's to talk about auditioning for the show, their dream roles, and their favorite backstage game.
