Forever Dusty Celebrates Valentine's Day with "Love Power"

Forever Dusty, now playing at Off-Broadway's New World Stages, tells the story of a shy Irish Catholic school girl from West London who transformed herself into a worldwide music superstar — the legendary Dusty Springfield. With songs by composers such as Burt Bacharach, Carole King, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, the show features all of the hits that made Springfield a household name during the swinging '60s. In this video shot and edited by Marcus Bustamante, stars Kirsten Holly Smith (who plays Springfield) and Christina Sajous (who plays Claire) get into the spirit of Valentine's Day as they perform (along with musical director Michael Thomas Murray on piano) Teddy Vann's "Love Power." Read Playbill's Diva Talk with Kirsten Holly Smith.
