PBS' "American Masters" Presents "Marvin Hamlisch: What He Did For Love"

Composer and conductor Marvin Hamlisch earned four Grammys, four Emmys, three Oscars, three Golden Globes, a Tony Award and a Pulitzer Prize before his untimely death. Whether he was composing for Hollywood ("The Sting," "Sophie’s Choice") or Broadway (A Chorus Line, They're Playing Our Song) his tunes stand the ultimate test of time. In this clip from the "American Masters" documentary "Marvin Hamlisch: What He Did For Love," school chums Christopher Walken, Leslie Uggams, Joann Mariano and Patti Mariano chatted about their experiences with Hamlisch during their days at New York City's Professional Children's School. The documentary airs Dec. 27 on PBS.
