Ahrens and Flaherty Talk Creative Process and Play From Once on This Island, Ragtime and Rocky

Tony-winning songwriting team Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty share an impressive and varied list of credits including Ragtime, Once on This Island, Seussical and My Favorite Year. They return to Broadway with Rocky, a new musical based on the 1976 Academy Award winning film written by and starring Sylvester Stallone. Here, Ahrens and Flaherty joined Playbill at nightspot 54 Below to share a sample of their tunes — both new and old — while talking about how they each came to be. See all the details of Rocky in the Playbil Vault.
