Annie Star Lilla Crawford Wraps Up Tim Federle's Broadway Kids Series

Broadway trooper Tim Federle's debut novel "Better Nate Than Ever" captures the adventure of a young theatre lover with Broadway dreams who sneaks on a New York City-bound bus to audition for E.T. The Musical. Federle, a veteran of Broadway shows like The Little Mermaid and Gypsy, chats with some of Broadway's brightest young stars from The Lion King, Annie and Newsies. In the final part of this three-part series, Federle sits down with Lilla Crawford, the star of Broadway's current revival of Annie, with whom he shared the stage in Billy Elliot. The two cover topics like the audition process, working with animals and what it means to play the role so many stars played before. See Federle's chat with two young stars of Newsies.
