Carolee Carmello and Martha Wash Two of Many in Night of a Thousand Judys

The third annual Night of a Thousand Judys celebrates iconic performer Judy Garland June 17 at the Kaufman Center. A special installment of Justin Sayre's variety show The Meeting*, the event benefits the Ali Forney Center and its mission to assist LGBT homeless youth. Playbill caught up with Sayre and performers Carolee Carmello and “The Original Weather Girl” Martha Wash in rehearsal. Along with musical director Lance Horne, they ran through tunes made classic by Garland. Click here for information.
