Cast and Creatives of Disney's Aladdin Meet the Press

The new Disney musical production of Aladdin will feature songs cut from the 1992 animated film and will draw upon the original plot and character concepts that lyricist Howard Ashman pitched to Disney. Here, cast members Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), Courtney Reed (Jasmine), James Monroe Iglehart (Genie) and Jonathan Freeman (he plays Jafar in the production and voiced the character in the film) were joined by Casey Nicholaw (director) and Chad Beguelin (book) to chat with the press about taking a fresh look at the beloved film. See the Photo Call portraits of characters from the show.
