Femi Kuti and Positive Force Bring Spirit of Fela! to Midsummer Night Swing

Femi Kuti — Fela Kuti's oldest son — brought his band Positive Force to Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park July 12 for the Midsummer Night Swing series, offering funk, jazz, rock and traditional African rhythms. Sahr Ngaujah and the cast of Fela! launched the evening with a dance lesson for those who couldn't wait to feel the beat.
