Highlights From A Free Man of Color

Tony Award winner Jeffrey Wright stars as the dashing womanizer Jacques Cornet, in the world premiere of John Guare's epic A Free Man of Color. Directed by two-time Tony Award winner George C. Wolfe, the play is centered in New Orleans following the Haitian slave revolts, when its large population of Free People of Color (or the "Gens de Couleur Libres") inhabited a city that was more European than American. Also featured in the cast are Veanne Cox, Paul Dano, John McMartin and Mos.
