Highlights From Bronx Bombers Off-Broadway

From the author of Lombardi and Magic/Bird, Eric Simonson's Bronx Bombers examines the New York Yankees — the most storied franchise in major league baseball and perhaps all of sports. With Hall of Fame names like Ruth, Berra, DiMaggio, Mantle, Jackson and Jeter filling rosters throughout the years, the team remained focused on winning even when dealing with the game’s most iconic and tempestuous personalities. The Primary Stages production runs through Oct. 19 at the Duke on 42nd Street. Read the Playbill story.
