Highlights from Dreamgirls at Virginia's Signature Theatre

Nova Y. Payton is Effie White, the most turbulent of the Dreamgirls, in Signature Theatre's revival of Tom Eyen and Henry Krieger's 1981 musical, playing through Jan. 13 at the MAX Theatre in Arlington, VA. Signature Theatre associate artistic director Matthew Gardiner directs and choreographs the musical about about the rise of the fictional Motown girl group The Dreams. The production co-stars Shayla Simmons as Deena Jones, Crystal Joy as Lorrell Robinson, David Bazemore as songwriter C.C. White, Cedric Neal as James "Thunder" Early, and Sydney James Harcourt as Curtis Taylor, Jr. For more information, click here.
