Highlights From Master Class Starring Tyne Daly

Winner of the 1996 Tony Award for Best Play, Terrence NcNally's Master Class returns to Broadway at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre starring Tony winner Tyne Daly as the witty and caustic aging opera star Maria Callas, who is leading a master voice class for aspiring singers. With the affable Manny at the piano (Jeremy Cohen), Callas finds herself both impressed and disgusted by her students (Sierra Boggess, Alexandra Silber and Garrett Sorenson) as they remind her of her own triumphs onstage, her bitter rivals, the savage reviews and a love affair with magnate Aristotle Onassis.
